Concept Design Services — Based in Houston, Available Remotely
Bring your ideas to life with concept-to-production design services. Whether you're starting with a rough sketch, a napkin drawing, or just an idea in your head, I help develop it into a fully realized, manufacturable design. Based in Houston, TX, and working with clients nationwide — all design work is handled remotely through file sharing, video calls, and collaborative CAD tools.
What I do
Concept design bridges the gap between an idea and a manufacturable product. This includes:
- Early-stage concept sketching and 3D modeling
- Design exploration and iteration (multiple directions before committing to one)
- Feasibility review — will this design actually work, and can it be built?
- Refinement into a manufacturing-ready design
- Prototyping support and design-for-manufacturing guidance
- Full transition from concept through to production-ready documentation
How I work
Every concept project starts with a conversation about your idea, its intended use, and any constraints (budget, materials, manufacturing method). From there, I develop initial concepts in SolidWorks, present options, and refine based on your feedback — carrying the design all the way through to a production-ready package, not just a pretty picture.
Industries and project types
Concept work spans a wide range — from consumer products to specialty mechanical devices. Past projects have included things like filter components, molded parts, and custom bike hardware, showing the range of problems concept design can solve, whatever industry you're in.
Why work with me
A lot of concept design services stop at a rendering. Because I also do mechanical and structural design, I carry your concept through feasibility and manufacturability from day one — so what you get isn't just a nice-looking model, it's a design that's actually buildable.
